Year 1KJ delivered an assembly all about International Women’s Day.
The children were really excited to be able to welcome grown-up and siblings into the hall for their first ever class assembly. They shared with the audience what International Women’s Day is all about and the importance of treating everyone equally. They also shared with the audience women who inspire them.
One child said “I am inspired by our class saint, St Joan of Arc, because she is brave and bold”.
