Abbey Catholic Primary School
Abbey Catholic Primary School

Introduction

Abbey Catholic Primary School was opened on the 29th March 1910 to serve the Parish of St Thomas and Edmund of Canterbury (known locally as Erdington Abbey).

The school has grown over the past 100 years and is now a thriving two form entry school welcoming 420 children from Reception to Year 6.

Abbey Catholic Primary School has very strong links with the Parish. Our children lead a morning Mass each week and on several Sundays throughout the Year. Our children are very well supported by families and parishioners throughout their faith journey including Sacramental preparation.

Our school motto is ‘Learning to follow in the footsteps of Jesus with our friends, family and Parish’. Our warm, caring ethos is evident as you walk around our school.

We look forward to welcoming you and your children to our School Community.

  • Reception: 8.40am to 3.10pm
