Reception had a fabulous morning visiting Highbury Theatre.
The morning started with a walk down to Erdington train station to catch the train. Whilst they were waiting for their train the children entertained the waiting passengers by singing nursery rhymes.
Once at Highbury the children were welcomed by Phil who showed them down to the stage. Then they took it in turns to go on to the stage, enjoying being imaginative and expressive in their performance for an audience. They loved how Phil changed the lighting in between each song.
This experience will be repeated in Year 6 when they return for their final primary school performance.
