Reception went on their first school trip to Highbury Theatre in Sutton Coldfield.
The children were very excited to travel on a train to the theatre. Once there, both classes took it in turns to go onto the stage and sing a Nursery Rhyme to their friends.
Phil from Highbury demonstrated for the children how he controlled the lighting from a special booth, making the whole experience even more exciting when they performed with the professional lighting.
A great time was had by all the children.
