As a school community we marked this special national day of reflection together, on the anniversary of the first lockdown.
Along with many others, we held a one minute silence to reflect in solidarity with all those affected by the Covid pandemic.
Throughout the day, children were able to visit our prayer wall where they could take time for personal prayer and add a ribbon to the wall as a physical sign of their prayer. We were delighted that our Parish Priest Fr Elias along with Fr Richard were able to join us at this special time.
Every child was given a candle and prayer card to take home, to enable them to take part in the evening vigil of light, another chance to pray and also focus on our feelings of hope for the future.
