On Monday 16th June, Year 5 were visited by Explorer Dome with their interactive planetarium.
The pupils saw images from space captured by satellites. They saw recordings of the sun and they couldn’t believe it was around 15 million degrees Celsius! Pupils learnt more about the Planets in the Solar System and the stars.
Pupils were very excited to hold a real meteorite that fell on earth, it was heavier than they expected.
We were delighted to hear the children’s questions and to see their engagement.
