Year 6 children decided that as their charitable focus for Refugee Week they wanted to support The Bike Project.
The Bike Project collect unwanted and unloved bikes and refurbishes them before passing on to people seeking asylum. The bikes provide a lifeline to improving mental wellbeing and also essential travel to those on limited incomes.
After taking part in a marketing training session, the children spread news of our pop up donation hub far and wide.
Over the course of the day 15 bikes were donated, a fabulous result!
