Year 5 stepped right back into history as they chopped, stewed, baked, and tasted all the historical recipes of an Anglo-Saxon banquet.
They designed their menu, accounting for seasonal produce and allergies, prepared their food and even invited a special guest – Mr McTernan.
It was a very successful day indeed.
