We said goodbye to our inspirational headteacher, Ms Tallon.
During the 14 years she has been at our school, she developed the Abbey family we know and love today. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye as we wish her well in her new role.We know that she will continue to develop the loving, faithful and supportive community we have here at the Abbey within other schools in our diocese.
In line with current restrictions, we were delighted to be able to celebrate her time as headteacher with a farewell mass. Unfortunately, we did not have capacity for all our families to be there, but we know they all held her in their prayers.
Ms Tallon had a wonderful last day at school and both staff and children were able to show their appreciation for her commitment to the Abbey. As a school community we are blessed to have had Ms Tallon as our spiritual director, forming each of us to be the very best person God has called us to be.
Thank you to all the families who made the effort to say goodbye, Ms Tallon was overwhelmed. We would like to say a huge thank you again to Ms Tallon for her service to the Abbey community and wish her every success as she directs the Birmingham Catholic Primary Partnership.
