Event - Year 6 Lockdown Leavers

16 July 2020

The end of a school year is always filled with a mixture of emotions. Sadness, as we say goodbye to our Year 6 pupils, and happiness, as we see them develop and move on to their next chapter.

This year was particularly special. We were very glad to be able to send our Year 6 pupils off with happy memories from their final day at the Abbey.

We wish them all the best in their secondary schools and hope to hear updates from them as to how they are doing in the future.

Congratulations to our Year 6 Lockdown Leavers of 2020.

We welcomed Year 6 children for their last day and caught the special moment with their parents.

The children were still able to sign their friends t-shirts to say goodbye.

Thank you to Father Elias who helped the pupils celebrate their leavers' Mass together.

Receiving the Host from Father Elias for the final time as Abbey pupils.

Ms Tallon presented the cups and shields to this year's winners. These are special achievements as they are voted for by pupils and staff.

Friendships that have been made at the Abbey and some will last a lifetime. #lovetheabbey
