Event - St Patrick's Day Talent Show

17 March 2011

To commemorate St Patrick's Day, Mrs Ruffinato co-ordinated a whole school talent showcase. We were delighted to welcome School Councillors from Nonsuch Primary School to share our celebrations.

Children from nearly every year group took part and displayed a wide variety of amazing talent.

Everyone was treated to an Irish welcome by being piped into school by one of our pupils and their dad. In addition to this, a group of enthusiastic and extremely talented young dancers jigged and reeled to an admiring crowd.

All photographs were taken by a Year 4 pupil - our talents never stop!

One of our Year 5 pupils was so inspired by both the St Patrick's Day celebrations and his literacy work on comedy writing and spoofs, that he wrote his own interpretation on how St Patrick banished the snakes from Ireland. We hope you enjoy it.
