Event - Science Day
16 December 2016
On Friday 16th December, the whole school took part in an exciting Science morning. The theme was Christmas and we were using ordinary things in an extraordinary way!
At the start of the day, there was a brilliant assembly with some really exciting experiments. Miss Haynes, Mrs Hands and Mr Crowhurst lit a Christmas pudding and we watched the blue flames dance around. Then they did an experiment which made it look like ice was on fire! As the finale, they did some cool experiments with dry ice. They showed us how Scientists have to persevere.
Then all the classes had experiments to do related to Christmas. It was so much fun! Who knew ordinary, everyday objects could be so interesting?
