Event - Fairtrade Assembly

2 March 2012

To take our step and support Fair Trade in 2012 Year 5 did an assembly for the whole school, parents and a visiting Year 5 class from the Osborne School.

Our Parents had a great opportunity to take their steps towards fair trade by trying some fair trade food and drink after the assembly in our Tea Party.

Pupils and Staff from the Osborne School did their bit by doing the Fairtrade Step. Want to do the Fairtrade step? Watch the video here.

Staff at the Abbey School has also been encouraged to do their part. During Fairtrade fortnight (27 February to 11 March 2012) staff can 'do the swap' and swap something either food or drink that is not a Fairtrade product for one that is.
