Event - Celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee

2 to 5 June 2012

To mark 60 years of reign, the Diamond Jubilee celebrations were centred around an extended weekend from 2nd to 5th June 2012.

Ted went to London to see the Queen and join in with all of the celebrations.

On Sunday 3 June he stood by the River Thames and watched and cheered as the Queen led one of the largest flotillas ever seen on the River Thames. Even though it rained, it was wonderful to be a part of such a big event; the atmosphere and enthusiasm kept everyone in a very good mood.

On Tuesday 5 June he joined well wishers in St James' Park and watched the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral on the big screen.
