Event - Abbey Carol Concert

8 December 2011

The choir and Mrs Adamo worked really hard to prepare for the Carol Concert that was held in the Abbey Church.

The service began with some of the choir processing down the aisle with candles, this really added to the reverent mood of the evening. This was followed by a selection of old and new carols proclaiming the birth of Christ. There were solo performances from several children and a moving duet from Mrs Adamo and guest singer Miss Robinson.

Choreography was lead by one of the pupils and all of the congretation were encouraged to join in. To end the evening the staff sang a couple of old favourites then everybody joined in with a Christmas medley, before Fr Gabby gave a blessing.

Natalie and Shona from Year 5 said that they love the carol concert because it makes them feel good to donate presents to people who otherwise would not have any.
