I have had the pleasure this evening of listening to your wonderful school choir this evening at the Town Hall. They were simply amazing and would go as far as saying they are the best primary school choir I have ever heard. The rendition of Amazing Grace moved me to tears. The children glorified and praised God with all their hearts. Was lovely to see and hear. God bless the children, their musical director and all who support them. Rating: Excellent |

Our time is over. It only seems like yesterday when I walked Charlotte into reception a mom fighting the tears, when Mrs Talon took her by the hand in a bright voice let's see if you can find your locker. Throughout all her years with you we have known someone was there to hold her hand encouraging her along. She makes me proud and all the teachers along the way have helped her to be the little lady she is today. Thank you all for your love and care I know she will always have nothing but good memories. This might seem really irrelevant, however, I walked past twice today and on the first walk it was evident the kids and staff were waiting on a coach for a school trip. It was obviously running late. I walked past again on my way home and the poor kids were still waiting for the transport but one of the staff/teachers had got them all singing as a bit of a distraction. Really made me smile. Actually made my day! My niece and nephew were former pupils there. I hope they all got to wherever they were going. A credit to the school. Rating: Excellent |

Friday 4th November, Dave and I decided to take the train from Lichfield, into Birmingham. I'm guessing it must have been Erdington (never really noticed the station) when a class of little school people entered the carriages. What a joy - well behaved, well supervised, so fabulously chatty, excited, a brilliant testament to themselves and the staff. These kids are our future! There is indeed hope! :) Hope they enjoyed the rock climbing, and that the staff were able to enjoy some R & R after school! They probably deserved it! Rating: Excellent |

Dear Ms Tallon and Abbey staff & children WOW!! What (an) Outstanding Website. It was so easy to navigate and it was great to see what a busy, happy, church centred school you are. I liked the picture of Ms Tallon in her office- something for me to aspire to - very posh! Rating: Excellent |

I attended this school from 1949 to 1956 and It was a good school then but now 60 years later it's much better, I love the refurbishments. I have now moved to Ireland but my son James (who attended the abbey from 1981-1988) still lives in Erdington, so when Im back in Erdington i'll come and visit! Rating: Excellent |

G'Day everyone, Just thought I would send you a little message to say how wonderful your new website looks and how much fun you all seem to be having... especially Travelling Ted! I tried to fit Ted in my suitcase but he couldn't fit! Maybe he had eaten too much chocolate over Easter. I am having a great time in Australia and so far I have seen a kangeroo, wallabie, toad, BIG spiders and even a crocodile although luckily no snakes! Keep up the hard work everyone and I will pop by to see you when I am back in Birmingham! See you soon. Rating: Excellent |

I spotted this website one lunchtime at work and had to look at every page - it's very well put together and informative. As an ex-pupil and father of 2 ex-pupils, I have fond memories of my time a the Abbey and know that my wife, Christine, enjoys working there. Keep up the good work and see you all at the quiz on the 19th. Rating: Excellent |

I have enjoyed visiting the website. I was at the Abbey today tending the family grave and spoke to Ms Tallon, the headmistress. I explained I was an ex pupil of the Abbey Primary going back to the 1960s, and Ms Tallon kindly invited me in and proceeded to show me around the school as it is now. I was highly impressed by the very good condition of the school. The classroom doors were the original -I knew that - but they looked almost new. The classrooms, hall and corridoors were very well maintained/decorated and it all looked very fresh and tidy.It was a pleasure to see the school and a lovely experience for me. Thank you Ms Tallon. I just want to say, that I am most impressed with all the hard work which has clearly gone into the preparation of the Abbey School Website. As a full time working mom, who cannot always integrate with other parents at school, the website keeps me informed as to the ongoing everyday events which take place at school. Well done to all involved. I am very proud of the fact that my son attends this excellent school. Rating: Excellent |
